even if it got 9.9 /10 i still think its too expensive.
Ive been posting news about this flashcart for weeks and today i finally got a chance to try it out for myself, firstly heres a pic of it:
The DS-X (DS-Xtreme) is a revolutionary storage, homebrew and media player flash cart compatible with all DS Lite and original DS consoles.
Offering a SINGLE unified solution which allows you to do the unthinkable and push the limits of Nintendo’s ™ top selling handheld console. The DS-X does NOT require the use of a passme, external memory or any unsightly GBA cart, just one intelligently designed piece of kit, the same size as an ordinary DS cart, giving an unrivalled experience to any DS enthusiast.
Its plug and play in its finest hour, an in-built USB port on the DS-X paves the way for you to communicate easily between the DS-X OS and your computer. Drag ‘n drop all your favourite media and homebrew as you please directly onto the included 4GBit (512-Mbyte) memory with minimal effort as the DS-X will be instantly recognized by your machine.
Thats the info now check out the DS-Xtreme Review.
even if it got 9.9 /10 i still think its too expensive.
same here.
and theres no expanadable memory.
I want at least 2 Gigabytes
2 Gigs would be nice.
waiting for next generation of slot one devices. not smart for someone on a low budget to purchase the first gen vers.
LOL.
At first...MK2/3 didnt needed one too...(just a orginal game). NinjaDS didnt needed a bootcart/flashcard compo, too. Then he talks about 4GB...but its 4Gb! (GB=Gigabyte / Gb=Gigabit). It would be better when someone reviews that thing with more technical knowledge and who knows more about the past of nds-flashcards.The DS-Xtreme is the first of a new generation of Flash Carts for the Nintendo DS, no longer is there a need for a Boot Cart/Flash Cart combo, this has the added bonus of 4GB of storage space built in.
But the specs/futures are looking nice
Thats why theres the DS Link with expandable memory and does everything this card does and then some. I wonder why wraggster doesnt post any news on it.Originally Posted by Adrenalin

The only things on DSLink are :
You need to patch roms (i dont care that!)
It has bad homebrew support (They just need to bring out a fatlib)
When they release a fatlib, i will buy one.
(Congratulations...that was my 100th post!)
This does not deserve 9.9. It has no GBA support and only 512 megs of hard drive.
