just take it to the shop saying when u were updating it went off then go to a shop u can trade in and well say i bought it from here lol and iv forgot receipt workrd for me once lol

can happen if ac adapter is pulled out or battery is taken out during update or maybe when the update is being run from the umd disc if the disc is taken out that can cause it as well Originally Posted by Kramer

wow, and there is no " revert to factory settings" ? i guess not then there would be more chance piracy and homebrew.... profits before customers eh
the jelly babies:
a "mod chip", is an actual computer chip that has to be installed into the psp it's self, i would guess that it would not the right solution for it.
best bet is to bring it back to the store, and hope that they are nice to you, if not ring sony. if your warranty is up, i'm sorry to say that could be it, legally they don't have to fix it.
