Reply With Quotei played ace combat:skies of deception umd on devhook and it required 2.81 to play, surprisingly it worked so i guess thats the flaw sony discovered,that 2.81 did nothing against devhook, by the way off-topic ace combat is a damn good game, worth every penny, like always when there is a good psp game it usually ends up being great

I can not see a reason for updating to this new firmware. There is no homebrew, no ISO loading, no fun! Unless you have 2 PSPs or are just crazy, stay away!

Ok the weakness is:
you can use devhook with 2.71 by changing a few files around inside of an iso of 2.80 or 2.81 if you know what to do you can get them all to work 2.82 will patch this exploit!
