Swapped my 2.8 for a 2.71 and downgraded to 1.5
Now, I'm not familiar with the homebrew stuff for 1.5, so can anyone please answer the following:
1. What do I use to be able to play UMD's that require you to upgrade your firmware?
2. What do I use to view .png and .jpeg files in the PHOTO menu?
3. What hacks/apps/games are reccommended for 1.5 users? I have snes emulator and N64 emulator, but need to know what else to make my new PSP as enjoyable as it can be.

PSP2. Black "non worker" from ebay: 2.6 (?) -> 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 2.71SE-B -> 2.71SE-B'
PSP3: Black "Broken UMD Drive" UK 1003 2.0 -> 1.5 -> 2.71SE-B -> 2.71SE-B'
Do you have a bricked psp?
I need to know what devhook to use. Where can I find a link to a "newest" devhook?
goto psp hacks and search devhook installer u will see the lastest one
Then I just install it and that's it?
Alright, thanks. But should I use the custom firmware 2.71 SE-B instead of devhook? I took a read of that topic and I think that would be the better option...
im using 2.71 se-b' bcos of the recovery mode its seem very safe 4 me just incase my psp get p brick but 1.5 has every thing u need apart from the recovery mode and any time u wanna play umds u need to activate devhook then it play but in 2.71 seb' just put ur umd in and plays straight away. 1.5 plays all homebrew but 2.71 doesnt play a few so u pick.
also i love the hidde corrupt data on 2.71 seb'
