I can confirm that GTA VCS does not actually require 2.81 firmware 100%.

Yes, good news. This game works fine using DevHook. Nobody needs to update and commit homebrew genocide.

i own a 2.00 psp.got vcs to load with the pspsetx app. but it doesnt have any sound?never used dev hook and is wondering can someone explains what it with do to make my psp read vcs.

Yes its been confirmed many times already as working. either with devhook or using 2.71 SE-B2. not sure if it works with henC though.
