emulation noob. please help! ><

Hello. this is the first time i try to run an emulator on my dreamcast, or run anything besides a game on it for that matter. i just found out it can be used to run emulators, play vcd, etc the thing is i don't have a clue on how to do it. i read the DC forum guides they helped a little.... my question is how can i run emulators and where can i find roms? please help me out. thanks.

EDIT: what i really want to learn how to run is dreamsnes. i downloaded bootdreams but im not sure how to burn the disc
