Wow, I've never heard of such a problem. I'd say it MUST be the UMD because it doesn't sound like an internal PSP problem. I would say send i back and ask for a new one but Sony mail is sooooooooooooooo slow you'd be better sending a carrier pidgeon to do it for youMaybe if you just return it, write a very disgruntled letter and include it with the UMD they'll send it back super-fast. But this is Sony we're talikng here so...
