Most of what you need to know about Windows CE Dreamcast Kit and the DIrectX libraries available for it it's on this thread http://www.dcemu.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/...num=1085069574
There were also Bigboy's emulators, DC64 and DreamSpec.
And Titanium Studios' leaked Quake port (which apparantly was given an official unofficial blessing to DCEmulation by idSoftware).

I no know where catch the Windows CE? :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(do you know?
i thought that all of the games used windows ce along with direct x to render the games. i thought that's one of the reasons dc died cause xbox uses direct x as well so transfering dc games to xbox would be a cinch.
both of those points are completely wrong. I think there were at most 2 or 3 REAL (and when I say real I mean non-slideshow) games that used WinCE instead of katana, and they were fairly poor. For reference, it uses a stripped down version of DX 5, so it can't even really do much. In fact, KOS (even KOS 1.0) is probably more capable than WinCE for the DC.
I really don't know why they put the windows logo on the DC to begin with, but I always did find it interesting how at some point they changed it between "Compatible with WindowsCE" and "Designed for WindowsCE"
here is a list of all the games that use Wince on the dc

So you think KOS can support games like Half-Life DC (for example) ?In fact, KOS (even KOS 1.0) is probably more capable than WinCE for the DC
Because Half-Life is full-3D, and with KOS i never see a game like that (may be i must search again).

Yea, KOS has great support for 3D stuff, we just don't have coder's proficient in 3D game design.
