Anyways I agree with the above, dont install 2.8 or newer. it's been well known for ages that if you upgrade you lose homebrew until the next hole is found.
There's nothing that's unhackable.The more code and features you add,the more possible vulnerabilities.

ok the first modchip released, Undiluted Platinum, allows you to run to seperate firmwares on ur psp. one from the modchip its self and another from the psp system. UP is around 100 US Dollars. and its a bitch to install by urself so try to find a pro or someone if u decide to get one. and if u do, good luck to ya
yeh i tried ringing the mod shop (they have everything to do with modding over here) and they said they can get the mod chips but wont install them because it is to risky. so i might find someone who has installed a few succesfully b4. but for the moment i am gonna just wait for a downgrader..
