Updating from SE-A to SE-B
--------------------------
- Copy the directories seb_update from SEB_UPDATE/PSP/GAME150 to /PSP/GAME150/.
- Run it. After you press X, the update will be done in a little moment. You are now in SE-B.
The following two sections are for a installation from zero:
Creating the DXAR file
----------------------
-Go to NEWINSTALL/PSP/GAME in 2.71 SE B folder copy seupdmaker and seupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME/
thats ur psp
-Get the 1.50 and 2.71 sony updaters and put in the seupdmaker whithout the %
take 1.5 eboot and rename to: 150.pbp
take 2.71 eboot and rename to: 271.pbp
-Run the program on ur psp this will creat the DXAR file
-The program will verify that the SHA-1 of the generated file is correct.
-Once that you have done this, you can save the DATA.DXAR file to skip this step in the future.
Flashing 2.71 SE
----------------
-Go get the files in newinstall called seflasher and 271seflasher% put in ur psp( /PSP/GAME ).
- Copy the generated DATA.DXAR file at 271seflasher directory.
This file, at release SE-B, should have ALWAYS the MD5 96B4E3ED430A591B077624FC326622AC
and SHA-1 9956936EADF91D578D4087499B7211B9429E99F7.
Anyways, this time, the dxar creator will have told you if the file was indeed correct.
-U can now runthe flasher if ur battery is more than 75% i recomend 85 to 90% for safty...
-The program will continue showing an agreement. Press X to accept
it and flash the custom firm, or R to cancel and exit to the XMB.
- If you accept, the program will flash the custom firmware. DONT shutdown the psp and DON'T
quit the memory stick.
- After finished, you psp will be rebooted to XMB... of 2.71
There u go hope that helps some pepole....
See any problems just tell me and i will fix them... in the instructions not the program...lol
Downgradeing back to 1.5
_______________________
-you have to have 1.50 official sony update, then rename it "UPDATE.pbp" and put in in
-x/psp/game/recovery
-Then run the recovery mode shut off psp by holdinging the power switch than turn it on holding the "right trigger" than click run recovery thing...
Games
____________
- im not sure if this applies if u start from scratch but if u update u have to make a folder named ISO in ur root for any homebrew games to work....
If that was even to compicated i have a diagram....
---J(or whtever port ur psp is pluged in)
----psp/
-----game/
-------seupdmaker and seupdmaker%
---------seupdmaker%
-----------1.50 and 2.71 sony updaters(both renamed UPDATE.pbp)
Run program on ur psp.....
--J(or whtever port ur psp is pluged in)
----psp/
-----game/
-------seflasher and 271seflasher%
Copy the generated DATA.DXAR file at 271seflasher directory.
Run the progame whith at least 75% i recomend 80-90%
Keep clicking x when promted till u are done(do not turn psp off or pull out memory card)
