2.81 what can i do?

sorry for the double post but no one is helping me out with this and id like to do what ever i can with my friend psp with a 082 motherboard and running 2.71 so plz give me links ive seached the site and i cant find anything that will help me out

do you have a 2.81 or 2.71

if you have 2.81 you are screwed the only thing you can do is update to 3.0 and while updating you can shut off the power of your PSP by holding the on/off switch for 10 seconds that will brick your PSP so you can try out your warranty

if you have 2.71 you can use reverse devhook via homebrewenabler HEN

well thats helps a little bit but like i said my friend got a psp and i have a psp and mine has 2.81 and his is 2.71 with a ta-082 mother board

you will not neccesarily get a higher firmware when you trade in i bought a psp from my local gamestation which was a non ta 2.50 in may (hecne the join date) i didnt know about homebrew so i updated but my younger brother bought a PSP 6 days ago and his was a 2.01 and he wont swap it errrr!

i think you both are screwed (your friend can try revdevhook)
to try out your warranty is the only thing you can do
i would laugh if they send you a ta-82 or 86 back
or maybe some dummy would trade with you
