play umds on v1.5
i have a 1.5 psp and dont want to have to keep upgrading to play umds and then downgrading to use homebrew apps
anyone know a way to play umds on 1.5?

i dont like the custom firmware because i dont really understand how to use homebrew on it

Devhook .46 emulating firmware 2.71 can run any currently released UMD.
Google 'devhook ultimate installer' and look for the psp-hacks.com link if you want a simple way to get it installed on your PSP.
Alternatively you could look into Dark_Alex's custom 2.71 firmware as MikeDX suggested. This provides both the homebrew access of 1.5 and the ability to run all current UMDs without having to load into an emulated firmware to do so.

theres nothing to understand, you just install it and go into the config settings and change the 1.5 eboot dir to /game instead of GAME271 and you are done.
