AAC music on 2.71 SE-B

I am using 2.71 SE-B firmware psp and am trying to get AAC files to work THese files are not from itunes.I converted them from mp3 to both .AAC and .m4a format and they always show up as corrupt data im am using total video converter (which also converts audio) and xilisoft 3gp converter.I have also tested the files on my computer

I've gotten .m4a files to work on my PSP, by using iTunes. You might want to try that if you have iTunes.
