(Yeah I am really pushing to get this known, this a dream come true for the homebrew scene on the PSP and it seems that NOONE has noticed it).- Aside from Linux, SCE's developers are still seeking the way to publish proper software development environment for the PS3 main OS and PSP for general users. But right now the PS3 main OS can run only signed applications (while PS3 Linux can run whatever applications on it).
You know, I really wish more people would read that topic and see what the hell the deal is.
Clearly Sony is attempting to make a development environment for the PS3 that would allow for homebrew (ran from the XMB) on BOTH the PS3 and PSP...
Maybe Sony has finally embraced homebrew on the PSP, yet no one seems to care...
Using firmware v2.00-v2.80? Open up a whole world of homebrew here
The PSP Homebrew Database needs YOU!
Don't let your ISP get away with illegal wiretaps. Stop Phorm Now!
...Scene dying? I think it's more like...Ignorant, childish sceners Killing it. The PSP Homebrew scene will never die...Who are we kidding? Of course, it might slow down cause there's new hardware coming out now, but the Devs already know their way around the PSP, so expect homebrew to get a lot better now, and more and more coders to come out of the woodwork...and it would really help if people stopped being so impatient and snobbish about each release.
I think it will Be exploding in the future!
I think that if DevHook emulates 3.0, this whole fight will be over. I am thinking about selling my psp to buy a ds lite and ds xtreme
I've only just got my PSP and I think the scene is excellent! The firmware flashing was the easier flash I have ever done!
I've still got a lot to learn thought and therefore many questions. I have already posted one thread and just tried to create another but I get the following error message.....
"dupfold, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
Any ideas why this would be? Have I done something wrong?"
PS Sorry, this is totally off subject but the only way I can ask for help.
I think you need to activate your account by checking your email.
Yeah this topic is old and there was another one like it that came out about 2 weeks before the absolutely epic news of downgraders for TA-082 and 086s.
Patience is a virtue few people have.
Yah now that we look back on this thread it is absolutely laughable.
