    Default Couple of Questions!

Hi! I just bought my PSP recently (with Firmware 2.01 installed - NOT model TA-082 nor IC1003).

Anyways, I upgraded my PSP frm 2.01 to 2.71, and downgraded from 2.71 to 1.50 to enjoy emulation.
Still, of course, I lost a lot of functions that are NOT in the firmware 1.50.

I have the currently emulators installed on my PSP:

    NeoCDPSP v0.8
    Snes9xTYL 0.4
    gpSP
    RIN GB/GBC Emulator
    DGEN for PSP Ver1.70
    PSPMaster

Question: I would like to know if I can upgrade back to 2.71 and still use these emulators without any problems... And will i still be able to play PSP game ISOs ???

Thanks in advance for the help!

    I know, I'm a PSP newbie! XD
    Workin' hard ok? looool

    No Iso discussion bro.
On the other subject I personally devhook 2.71 to get it's features,a large portion of members here use 2.71SEB" which is a custom firmware conbining features of 1.5 and 2.71.
I was gonna install this as well but changed my mind as the only real gain is a faster webbrowser.
I just emulate 2.71 with devhook.

So there's no reason to upgrade from 1.50 to 2.71?

How about the games... Don't they sometimes need a newer firmware version?

He's not providing anything, and were not either. So I think we should help him.

if you run devhook, it lets you 'emulate' 2.71 and thus, you can run 'UMD' that require newer firmware than 1.50

    Great! tnx for the information!

In that case... I'll stick with the 1.5 firmware :P
Still... gotta get me another memory card... 32MB just aren't enough for me! loool XD
