    If your graphics card is supported, you can do that on your PC.I hope we'll have full support for the 3d desktop on the PS3.It's really just a matter of fully supported hardware though.I can't do it on my laptop yet because of my IGP chipset
    Now tell me,What's vista got on that?!

    On the PS3, the Linux drivers explicitly don't support the 3D hardware, just a 2D framebuffer context (according to docs at www.powerdeveloper.org).

    You may know more? Is that access at the level of OpenGL or even CG that either I'm not aware of or maybe hasn't been publically released yet?

    I'd love to see XGL on PS3 (though its RAM is very limited). I'll watch with great interest...
