Rev Managing SD Cards on the Wii

Turns out that first update for the Wii did a couple of things. It changed the boot-up screen, tinkered slightly with a couple of menus and added the ability to manage the data on your SD card. In particular, you can now transfer game saves and virtual console games to and from an SD card as advertised.

SD Card readers are really cheap, even in the UK where we regularly get shafted.

if you have a digital camera that reads SD, it can double as a reader. all you have to do is load the card into the camera (just dont turn it on) then access it from whatever drive lettering it gets. drag and drop your files *cough* roms *cough*
take out the card, put back in the Wii and you're good to go!
