PlayStation Portable 3.0 firmware features revealed and released

I have 2 psp's so I'll be updating anyway, so despite the apathy I had with the previous updates cos it didn't matter to me from a homebrew standpoing, I have to admit my disappointment with this update is gnawing at me.

This time I at least wanted to update for a something I could use, other then updating for the sake of new games.

not worth it , i would have updated if it alowed ps1 games, but in this case
and since 2.8 supports write to flash then is good enough

if you want to update thats your problem do not come back and then demand a downgrader to be released cause you dont like the features in 3.0

Am I the only that thinks this whole idea of having to have a PS3 is a good one?

Think about it, theres going to be a huge amount of people with PSPs already who want the PSOne games, and will go out and buy a PS3. The people who have a PS3 will think "Oh, well I can carry my PSOne games around with me!" and purchase a PSP. Sony are pretty smart :)

and as for the havin to hav a ps3to d/l ps1 games damn sony

the only decent thing is the no umd on start up but easily solved by takin out the umd or unabling the boot screen

they havent listend to a word the customers want
(and by the way sony thats how you get people buying your products and u also get your fav thing, MONEY)

this update made me think about updating for 1 second but eh uhhh devhook people i've said it before in the past and i'll say it now (read my sig) before we know it we'll be launching ps1 games on our memory sticks and keeping our homebrew at the same time go Fanita, Dark Alex, Yoshiro and Booster!!
