PSP Firmware 3.00 dumped

I wonder how long till this is emulated on devhook?

Well Dark_AleX said himself that he has been in contact with Booster and that Booster has been busy lately so a new DevHook may be some time away. But there are also reports of a BETA DevHook out that emulates 2.80.

One way or another DevHook is just too good to be forgotten. So perhaps Booster will release the source. Another report says that Booster has not released the source because it is not 100% stable yet and doesn't want to be held accountable for any problems. Both legal and bricked PSP's.

Booster plz simply make a new account and release the beta with source so Dark Alex or a good coder can work with the decrypted 3.00 fw and emulate it if ur busy

Dark Alex does have the beta. not sure about the source code though. Anyway he´s on the job, time will tell.

I updated one of my PSPs and theres a feature in game called Certificate Utillity. I cant remember it mentioned anywhere and the online manual dosemwt say anything about it. What is it and how do I use it?

Why dont Sony accept the fact that they just don't have the best coders working for them. They would be better advised to spend their money on improving support for the PSP rather than trying to outwit 'The Community'.

Judging by your post count you dont know much about the psp scene , Yes i no there was a beta devhook even before the interview ,as it was confirmed on qj and what makes you think 3.00 will be easier they have added more security so what makes you think it will be easier

my post dont mean anything i know about the psp ever since it came out i had this account for a long time and i just dont feel wasting my time making post i love this site best one for news and updates i just dont like wasting my time making post when i can just read what other ppl have to say. When i see somethin that i might like i make a post so as u can see i dont like posting i got 4 PSP 2 2.71 SE-B3 and 1.50 devhook .46 and i just mess around with them me i dont like releasing anything i find theres no point when u know u got something that other dont have. so i dont got time to make post.

if u have the modchip, u have direct flash access from ur computer, so y dont they make the dump available for download so ppl with the modchip can install it??

Hopefully an exploit will be found soon. Since this is a pretty big update, it should be easier to find an exploit than 2.81 which is a "security update."
