    psp PSP Firmware 3.00 dumped

A modified PSAR Dumper has already dumped the new firmware, early detective work shows there are new modules pops.prx and popsman.prx also the file system on the Flash0 was changed.

More info as we get it.

basically, the data.psar is a file in the update eboot.pbp... Think of the data.psar as a .rar archive- it holds and compresses several files (in this case the files needed for the firmware) into one, smaller file...

It just means that Sony has yet to figure out how to not permit hackers to screw with their stuff...and it also means that we've quickly catched a glympse of some new files in the firmware...but that's it.
