No you dont need to upgrade to play your LCS umd, just use a certain program that will let you change the disc check so that it thinks you only need the FW you have.have a look around on the boards, by reading what others have done before you will gain a better insite into what is to come.

ok you can either use DevHook or 2.71 SE-B. DevHook is completely safe while SE-B is as risky as downgading. DevHook lets you switch between 1.5 and 2.71. SE-B combines the two in one special magical firmware.
