Rev Wii Sensor Bar TV Remote Hack

    Via Kotaku

At first I was sure the Wiimote ran purely on fairy dust and children's dreams, but apparently I was wrong. Someone has posted a YouTube video showing how to replace your sensor bar with TV remotes.

I tried this and it works with my two remotes as well; not as good as it did in the video but good enough to prove the point.

Makes me want to buy two of these and have some fun with the wii's range:

you could attach a scope to your wii-mote

set up the wii/tv down the hallway

and wait for silent scope to come out for the Wii...

    and snipe in style.
