y would u need software? u have a camera option in 3.0; this does only work in 3.0...right?

You need the software for 2.8 until 3.0

I suppose the software is for 2.8 or 2.71. Sony introduced both camera.prx and gps.prx way before 3.0 in either 2.71 or 2.8 (I forgot exactly which one). Chances are the software is used for those firmwares, with 3.0 having more advanced features.

My question is WHY?! Unless it turns out to be an eyetoy for the psp. If its just a digital camera than screw that, leave that wackiness for Nintendo to make cos it seems pretty damn useless as most people own a digital camera... well in America they do. Prolly just as popular as owning a cellphone... cameraphone?
