Breath of Fire III - slow but playable up to the end of the first battle then it hangs

btw...is there supposed to be sound with this?

BOF 3 works OK for me, goes out of 1st battle and goes on normally.

Reasonable speed too

Thanks for all the compatibility tests, but isn't someone going to type the whole list down in the first post soon, so it's a bit easier to find the games? Or should I do it?

Vagrant Story (PAL) - Freezes after SquareSoft Logo (Damn)

Bushido blade 2 (ntsc) , loads a long time then does nothing , can still home uit of application though , so doesn't hang

Grant Turismo2 (Arcade mode disk) - Loads up pretty quickly. All the menus and the car selction work fine, Its goes into the game and starts to zoom into the cars then freezes.

Driver - Gets past 'memory card check' then screen goes black and gets no further.

Metal Gear Solid - Games boots up then screen goes black once you try to start.

All are Pal versions of the games, freshly ripped from my original playstation collection. Thats all ive had time to test, but I think i'll wait for a future update before doing much more.

A promising start, just a shame none of the games that I've got work.

well.. thats me done testing for a while... I'll be back and I'll rip my Bubble Bobble 2 and Street Fighter : The Movie discs and see how they work.

Hey, did anyone of you try pressing L+R+LEFT or RIGHT?

The memcard starts flashing... and the game occasionally freezes. I wonder what's that shortcut for?
