every game i try keeps hanging at the loading game... screen.

ive tried marvel vs. capcom and megaman x5

anyone know a way around this. the schp1001 bios file is in the right folder

Tekken 2 skips the intro sequence, gets to the demo screen, and freezes where it says "Heihachi vs Nina"

Tekken 3 works, although slow. I had eloader at 333 and the in game at 400% worked best. I tried it at higher and lower and only seemed to get slower. the graphics are top notch!!

Just ripping the res evil 2/3 iso's apart to downsample vids then rebuilding it !!!.

EDIT: Crash Bandicoot hangs after selecting a level. Damn

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 just makes the Memory stick light blink for ages, then shuts off.

How the heck are you going to downsample the videos?

Tell me if that works out, since AFAIK you can't just open a PSX video in Windows Movie Maker or something, let alone re-encode it and keep it working later...

edit: another thing, the game will probably stop working the moment you take the ISO apart and rebuild it later. Just to help you, the ISO should be built as mode2xa afterwards. Even then, I'm pretty sure it won't work anymore.

i remember reading long ago that pacmanfan had something to say about removing videos from psx iso's. to get the file size down u could put a dummy file in with the same name etc so it all linked/matched up and remove the humungous vids.

this emu release is gonna prove healthy competition for yoshi and psxp...hopefully itll spur each of them on to bigger and better things. fingers crossed.....

or perhaps sony will remove its thumb from its ass and get its $#@! together on this psone emu.
