I have just finished reading all 59 pages of this thread and got FF7 to work on my 1.5fw psp.

For those of you who haven't figured this out. IT will not work on 3.0

Stop asking how to place the files on your memory stick. it was posted more than once and it clear and easy to understand. If you don't get that, then you probably shouldn't be messing with ISO's and your PSP.

It isn't a realistic expectation to have people walk you through this by sending you emails. If I can sit here and read all the pages and make it work, so can you.

Don't post with another question about what firmware is needed or how to instal until you have read the entire thread.

let me help a few of you who aren't bright enough to read the README file


1) THIS WILL NOT RUN ON 3.00, 3.01, OR 3.02.

2) THE BIOS GOES IN PSP/GAME/__SCE__ps1p. IT SHOULD BE SCPH1001.BIN

3)LEGALLY BACKED UP ISOS GO IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE BIOS.

still doesnt answer my question, ive got it all working. Is there a way i can overclock the emulator because ff9 goes f'ing slow. Im using magic iso, but i cant make iso's of the full disc? :S

Increase the frame skip % (hold both back buttons and up/down i think).

Ok ty for emu, works good, but 1 thing i got ff7,8 and 9 to work on psp but seem to run really fn slow as hell can some 1 give me advice on what i can do to improve it. i mess with cpu but dont really do nothing..

It's not full speed yet gundam this emulator is a work in progress (WIP).

If anyone could answer soon, id be most pleased Im having trouble with the memorysticks (ff7) I downloaded a game save, converted it to *.mcr file (which is checked is correct) and also put it in the correct folder (the one without the percentage. FF7 will not find the memory card however. Any ideas?

How do you change the cpu on firmware 2.8? Final Fantasy 7 is running at $#@!ty framerate, please tell me I can change the cpu on a 2.8. Thanks

Question:

When I extract the files, I keep getting an error message. I have used WinRAR and ZIPReader and both give me error message and I deleted an re-downloaded the files. Any suggestions?
