thought you'd all like an official update:

we have successfully loaded the 3.00 vsh on a fresh 2.71 se-c via devhook...which means on any SE edition firmware.

it seems that at the moment, the only way to get things to work is to actually modify the firmware, in which distributing becomes illegal.

the full "hack" is still undergoing, with a third member of FWI, Birdman, joining in and doing wonders for the peoject. Don't expect anything tomorrow, the day after....but updates will come.

and a legal way to get this working will also come.

wait a sec the video i seen didint show any booting of devhook so whats up with that and im not talkin about birdmans vid i mean the other two videos i seen almost made me piss my pants and i hope this gets released but anyways about the legallity of this will look at booster and devhook did that stop him well it did but he came back so i say release it bt thats not up to me but anyways keep up the great work on this

But 2.71-SE is not 100% problem free at the moment. Very damn close but still a few kinks that I'm sure will be worked out.

Ive had the machiene crash a couple of times when im playing emu's before now, only seems to happen when you put it in sleep mode and it isnt all the time, just on occassions.its a good firmware so i can deal with it.shame it happened after about an hour on chrono triger just now though
