Will Wright faces off against Stephen Colbert Monday night.

Earlier this week, The Colbert Report warned of the addictiveness of Nintendo's Wii. Host Stephen Colbert will wrestle the world of videogames once more Monday, December 4 when Sims creator Will Wright makes an appearance.

The focus of the Colbert Report interview is unknown. The Sims franchise remains one of the most popular in the games industry and Wright's upcoming sandbox title, Spore, has garnered considerable attention. Both are likely to be touched upon during the interview.

An October article in the New York Times by Steven Berlin Johnson titled "The Long Zoom" focused on Wright. Johnson also wrote the book Everything Bad is Good for You: How Today's Popular Culture is Actually Making us Smarter. Both could be interview fodder for Colbert, an admitted geek.
