    Default Reverse Devhook for 3.0?

    In light of:

    http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=44566
    and

Is this even remotely possible? Im not asking if its soon, just possible?

Not in the near future, PSP devs need to find an exploit/glitch/decripted code in 3.0/3.01, to get any homebrew working, let alone Devhook.

Your second link is a hybrid between 2.71/3.00. It isn't just a 3.00 running by itself.

im not saying that it won't be possible. There are two options:

    1) We find an exploit which leads to homebrew

    2) Sony have just done too well, and we lose.

But, seeing that there is already a glitch found in 3.00, and that Sony brings out 3.01 within a few days, shows that there could be something wrong with the Firmware

reverse devhook is not even possible in 2.80, nonetheless 2.81, 2.82, and not even remotely close to 3.00 unless an exploit is found in 2.81 which exists in 2.82 and 3.00 which is quite possible. but you have to find it first!

    yes, you, the average user

    get to exploiting!!

hawke, thats the whole point. No one ever knows where the exploit is, and there are so many parts of code, so many possibilities of getting through.

Then again Sony are thick. The 2.00 exploit was the TIF expoit. And in 2.7 it was a libTIF exploit, both using the PHOTO menu. Sony havent got a clue on how skilled some of the developers we have working here.
