If that's in reply to me, I meant I could download said games now... and enjoy them later when I do not have an internet connection. I'm not completely ignorant of how this interweb works.

But sorry if I misinterpereted something. From the sounds of it, you didn't actually need an internet connection to the Wii while it was playing homebrew...

    Simple Question:
    Action Replay
Can also be used with the US VERSION Nintendo™ Wii (to play GameCube™ import games)
    Well... US Version
But I'm going to buy a PAL (German) Wii of course.
Am I handicaped now? Or can I also enjoy homebrew and stuff like that?

I'm pretty sure it was in reply to the post by jergens a few down from yours.

Anyway, back on topic. You should be able to play any gamecube emulators on your Wii, no internet connection required. You just find the emulators and play away.

I have a question specifically related to the AR device in this procedure. When you put the disc in does it have to be the one that came with the AR? Mine is cracked and doesn't work. I'd like to be able to get a hold of a game specific code junkies disc and use that since I can actually find them.

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can order just the disc?

    what's about that codes?
Do I have to enter all of those or just one of them?
Sorry if this question sounds stupid to you? I'm just a little helpless noob :-)

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the Gamecube compatibility is actually in hardware, not implemented in an emulator. (Similar to how you could play Sega Master System games on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive)
