Mugen on PSP

Is there any chance of a full port of this game to the PSP,It seems like Open MUGEN is never updated and I honestly think this would work on this system.

There was an OpenMugen project going on at Source Forge, but the latest news is from 2004...

I thought there was an OpenMugen port being made for PSP, but I don't know anymore. Must have been wishful thinking I had seen here, but I do recall seeing it mentioned on here before.
