Well sadly I thought you could trick it into running another rom i.e. parent/clone roms But the way NJ has the roms flagged is that for SVC you can't it looks for the pcbjamma board ones and won't run them and it won't run the bootleg ones either sooo until he or someone talented enough changes the flags no sound.

is there an idiots guide to doing this? i stepped out from NJ stuff a while back to wait for this moment 100% speed. but now i feel intimidated rigging it all up again. does anyone have a step by step guide to setting it up or final files they can send me (NOT ROMS).

Can I find free ROMs for CPS2? I have downloaded some games containing different files, but none a rom.

Those are Xor files used to allow emulators to run the roms and no there are no free roms for the CPS2 system, I think theres a few homebrew Neo-Geo games though if you want to give them a go
