i personally think region coding is retarded anyway, because if u on a console and want to play a game from another country IE Japan because they have ALOT of games that are not in the states then u should be able to if u buy it. PSP is region free well except for movies, so i wonder which mod chips sony were frettin about?

I like (read don't) the way the U.K always has to wait for the euro release of games!

I would prefer to just buy the American version (and become a criminal of epic proportions) of, say FFXII for PS2 in 2006 rather than wait for the same game with Spanish and French in it for the U.K market in 2007.

Afterall, the actors in the game still speak American on the U.K release anyway and it does not feature Tea.

so .... Yay for Aus and serves you right for "we are so stupid", Sony!
