Do i need to convert for supercard?

If i download a freeware game and i want to use it for my supercard, do i need to convert it to some special format or can i just drag the game into the folder and play it?

There is a tool to change games that dont work with SC to make them work i dont have it in this PC thoug its in my lap top.

Well, i dont remeber which game but it was some freeware game that came with a .sc.nds file, will that work on my supercard?
