GX killed yugioh.

Konami is bringing the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX to the Nintendo DS in February, in the form of Yu-Gi-Oh: Spirit Caller.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's first appearance on the DS, Spirit Caller allocates players a room in the Duel Academy's Obelisk Dormitory, where the beginner duelists are housed. There, players encounter the Spirits of the Cards who make nice and accompany them at all times. Spirits will join players for card battles against the school's best duelists.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller makes a few changes to the gameplay that was established in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour on the DS. Konami sped up the dueling system making for a faster game. The player's spirit guide will offer advice for school life and will play an integral part in the game's plot. A character edit menu allows players to create an onscreen likeness of themselves.
As Yu-Gi-Oh! is a Trading Card Game, players can dual against each other in one-on-one bouts courtesy of the Wi-Fi connection and can take on duelists anywhere in the world via a dedicated server.

hmm, what is that yugioh game where u can input the codes of cards you have (physically, like if u own the card game) to get the card in the game... i'm pretty sure this exists doesn't it.
Edit: hmm, i think it seems a few of the games implement this feature.
Gosh lets just hope that we get to see actual cards come to life.. since the GBA versions didnt actually bring them to life at all.
