Does Mapthis work on 2.71 SE-C ?

As a general rule, if it isn't coded to reject firmwares above 1.5 then it will likely work. So it should work.

Well yeah the thing is 1.50 has access to kernel mode. Firmwares above 1.50 have limited access to kernel mode. I know that when DarkAlex made 2.71 SE-C it allowed access to Kernel mode ( a mesh of 1.50 firmware and 2.71), but not sure if 100% capabaility for Kernel mode was added, which is required or was for the GPS receiver to work with MapThis.

I was just wondering if anyone here upgraded thier firmware to 2.71 SE-C and tested mapthis with GPS to see if it indeed worked. I could try this and if not downgrade back to 1.50 but I was just checking to see if anyone has done this already, Thanks.

steve, its actually 2 SEPERATE kernals both on flash. It is 1.5 if you use the game (if u dont set it, the GAME150) folder. also, i tried, and it does work.

Ok cool thanks, I didn't know that it loaded both the 1.50 and the 2.71 kernel on flash thanks for the response.
