I'm sure you could wire the Saturn controller into the Dreamcast controller yourself. I've seen Saturn controllers wired into Xbox 360 controllers.
Does anybody know where I can purchase an adaptor so I can use my Saturn pads on my dreamcast?
I bought one years ago at a car boot sale but I could do with another, but I just cant find anything (lots of DC to PS converts but no Saturn to DC)?
Any help would be much apreciated?

im sure no one wants top fittle with wires. ive tried my hardest to find the thing for youy but all ive found is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sega-Saturn-Twin...QQcmdZViewItem
i remember readin about this adaptor 6 years ago in the ODCM magazine when sum1 asked "are the twin sticks ever coming"
http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad...m/d_sstodc.htm
here i found this for only 22 bux or so.. thats all i could get in a few hours of searching.
Another option: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-h5-49-en-70-46.html
Doing your own adapter like the SS->Xbox one (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.p...=165&p=3546461) is not worth it unless you are looking for a nice electronics project![]()
all i could really find henz was the SS-XBX project. google is flooded with it.. but qat this point in terms of gen who wants an SS controller on an X-Box?? and couldnt u use say a PS2 to XBX adaptor in conjuction with an SS to PS adaptor?
I have a all in one saturn, PSX/PS2, and DC converter for my Xbox. Its called the magic box controller adapter. They also have them for the PC. I have both and both work really good, except for the DC analog stick which is really twitchy. Btw, just bought the total control 3 adapter for my DC yesterday. Those things can be hard to find so if u want one go buy one at play-asia right now!
are thery as costly as the link i provided? baboon has said nothing here.. and the xbx has 2 analog stix and then some, how did u compensate?
Thanks for the feedback peeps.
I didnt really fancy taking a contoller apart to make it work, but I've since found what I wanted on ebay!
I managed to pick up an 'Innovation' DC adaptor for $10 that supports PS1, PS2 and Sega Saturn pads... plus I can also still use the VMU units with it!
I would have purchased the ones listed in this thread from Playasia, but unfortunetly they dont ship to the UK (god I miss Liksang).
The whole reason I wanted my Saturn pads to work on my DC is cause I think the official SS pad layout with the 6 buttons is simply the best for Vs fighting games! I know there have been lots of pads out for various consoles that look simliar to the SS one, but for me none can match the Saturn pads for doing moves on 'Super Street fighter 2 turbo X', 'Marvel Vs Cacpom 2' etc.![]()
