    Default psp help!!

    i upgraded my psp, i was wondering if there was any way to bring it back to its original version, or to reset it so it goes back to the version i got it at??

    what version did you upgrade it to, if it's anything higher than 2.71 (ie: 2.80) you won't be able to downgrade for some time. and you won't be able to downgrade at all if your motherboard is a TA-082

    Sorry to say theres no downgrader for any firmware higher than 2.71.

    All you can do is wait and hope a new exploit is discovered.

    so theres no way u can reset the system to its default settings, like a system restore or ssomthing????

    Nope, when you run an official sony update it deletes all old traces of firmware and installs a completely new one, thus rendering a psp useless (well within reason, lol) sorry buddy, but you'll have to wait till an exploit is found in a higher firmware or you could try trading your psp into a second hand shop for one with an older firmware.

    buy a modchip and get a professional install, it should help but also check ur motherboard if its compatible with it.
