X-Flash V17 Released

Art has released X-Flash V17. nothing can say it better, so here’s the changelog:

V17 (12/12/06):
* Auto checking for incorrect PSP registry version at startup. User is kicked if a 1.50 registry is present in a 2.71 SE firmware installation, or vice versa. A prompt is given to restore registry settings in the XMB menu.
* Implementation of custom coded ‘6AM Sample Player’. Sound effects are resampled louder and clearer. Sound sample files are built into the program EBOOT.
* Mikmod audio library is now used soley to play demo music.
* Startup file checking sequence is faster since there are less external files to validate.

The SE full installers do a logical format, the SE updaters don't.
After using one of the full installers, there shouldn't be any old files left.

i customized my name plate picture in my old fw 1.5 and it was coulerfull not only black
so today i customized it again (the standart name_plate.png) and i started x-flash v 17b i clicked on the customize name plate picture and everything is ok but when i go in the system settings --> About PSP there is only a WHITE !! screen
so is it possible to customize the nameplate in 2.71 se C at all or is there only a white screen

What new features are there, flashing wise? Like are bigger gameboots allowed, etc. Thank's for you're time...
