Don't worry the Wii sells itself quite well regardless of the lack of top quality software.

Seriously, this is a pointless argument, just buy the system YOU want, and RESPECT the opinion of others towards thier favorite console.
I agree that if this war of consoles is half as heated a sthe SNES vs Genesis era then we will be in for some fantastic games on ALL systems, some of which will be exclusive, meaning that to play them all you will need to own several consoles, it's going to be a tough time making desisions, but dont critisise others if they do not share your fondness of "x" console, just agree to dissagree and enjoy the games you have.

that is completely false. there are so many other awesome games out for the wii other than zelda. im not saying zelda isnt a good game, i love it. but there are so many games out that can be played so much more realsiticly and activly than on a ps3 controller, which can only tilt. the wii is a revolution in gaming, and everyone knows it.

I dont disagree that the wii is lacking in software at the moment. but much like the PS3 it was JUST released.

What excites me about the wii is not what is currently released (though zelda is certainly desirable) but the potential it will have for many sports games, FPS, and just crazy games like those wario ware games.

Ironic. The same could be said about ps3 thus far. I know you probably meant this sarcastically but its true. Resistance : fall of man is the only memorable ps3 title thus far I can think of. That may be due to the fact that I dont read every magazine and internet review site on the internet (like I used to do 2 years ago) but i think thats about it so far. I am sure you will come up with more but surely the wii lovers will too . But the point is.. you cant decide who is superior in the software aspect because both consoles are in their infancy.

capn' 1 time is right, as a matter of fact PS3 has a $#@!ter line up so far, as resistance is surely not as good as zelda. also, to the point of this topic, i think the wii is a novelty but just 'cos its a novelty don't mean it aint fun and worthwhile. anyway i shouldn't really be posting as i cant be assed with sony and am not buying a wii; getting 360! (ive mentioned this in like 3 posts, sorry if you are annoyed but just so psyched man!)
