PSP help!

I have a ta-82 psp and I have seen a lot of interesting games that have come out. I'm just wondering if I can upgrade to at least 2.8 (my firmware is 2.6) to play the new yugioh game and others. Anyways I want to upgrade but I still want to be able to play the nes emulator and gameboy color emulator I'll be happy with those 2. So can anyone help me out? I have been gone from the psp emulation scene for quite a while and dont know where to start looking for advice. Thanks

yes you can upgrade to 2.8 and use eloader or you can upgrade to 2.71 and use HEN

yeah, you can use DevHook and emulate firmware's upto 3.02
