    psp Yoshi's Island works... GUARANTEED!

It comes up with an error message,

After seeing this I just tried it again to confirm and played all the way to level 1-4 (Castle). There are no problems with this game. Both the intro and level selection work fine.

Make sure you don't have a bad dump of this game and also be sure to have the CORRECT bios.

I dont usually post messages, however I had to on this case. I too have always loved the homebrew scene, and was thinking of making a GBA emulator of my own.i can remember, looking at my psp in my hands and thinking [if only i could play my favourite GBA games like Golden Sun on my psp...sigh...].Exophase u are truly commendable for all the work you have done for the homebrew community-& no other crappy hybrid type form of your emulator has EVER touched my PSP.I expect the best from the best, and for GBA emulation-you are truly leading the scene for PSP..

As for thoses who blackmail you into giving BIOS's and ROMS...Could you people please learn how to use the internet-and stop discouraging coders. As too many a time have we seen good coders get tired of complains from players.(Although Exophase claims he wil grit his teeth, through the rubbish)he shouldn't have to. Just search on Google and find whatever you need to...trust me-everything can be found there if you look hard enough.

I've talked enough, anyhow I'd just like to say again, thank you Exophase.Forget the darkness trying to shroud your light-let it shine through your emulator.IT ROCKS!

Super Mario Advance 3 - Yoshi's Island (U) DOES WORK!!! And the best part of all is that it runs FULL SPEED w/ perfect sound in this version. Make sure you have the CORRECT bios and a clean dump of the game. Where in the game are you running into issues?
I've got a (E) version, the game freezes in the intro for a long while, and it doesn't run correctly: instead of jumping, the green Yoshi is pushing something.

again, having the correct bios makes the world of difference. read the readme file, he TELLS you exactly what bios you need, and how to tell if it's the right one.

    from the readme file

    Q) How do I know I have the right BIOS?

    A) If you have md5sum you can check if it has this hash:
    a860e8c0b6d573d191e4ec7db1b1e4f6
    That BIOS should work fine.
    reading pays.
