Nice! Work on new Flash Portal has begun!
It's IndianCheese here, reporting on the progress of my new upcoming portal, officially named Quasar. As always, the portal will be easy to use and great to look at front to back. I would like to share with you a small treat, the newest addition to my portals, the Download Console. This will let you download game demos and system software updated through a clean, simple, and fast Flash interface. The Console even tells you of required firmware! As the portal grows, more developments to the Console will be added, possibly including homebrew direct downloads! No more ugly ZIPs or Install-O-Tron!
Here is a nice little sample of what the interface will look like. The actual downloading feature has been deliberately removed to avoid interruption during development. You use the arrow keys to navigate the menu. Note that holding in an arrow key will continue pushing the menu into that direction.
