ok thaks for that i was going to try to do mine and ny bros he has a factory original 2.5 and i have a factory orig 2.6, wat are the best files for me to use????? thanks

hmm...... i don't think the downgrader will work on a factory 2.5 or factory 2.6 psp. I could be wrong on this but you could be walking into a brick. My psp was factory 2.0 when i got it and i upgraded to 2.6 then when the downgrader finally came out i downgraded successfully.

personally id say use the 2.71 downgrader, that way its dead simple.just upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5, was safe for me every time ive run it so far.

just go to dax.lan.st. Go to the bottom where all the files are. You should see a 2.71 flasher. that will help downgrade a 2.71 psp.

hi all ive the upgrade file to upgrade to 2.71 how do i actually install that file and do the upgrade any step by step help??? (i am a novice at this !!!!)

i wood use the easy downgrader located on this site, i used that and it worked fine for me.
