If i upgrade firmware will i lose my save games?

Hi, i use a supercard mini sd to back up my games, so i dont have to carry em around everywhere! I am using the 1.63 firmware for the supercard and have discovered that a new version is out.
So if i upgrade my supercard will i have to reconvert my games and lose all my save games?

I'm assuming you have your files on the memory card?
If so, no, the firmware shouldn't affect it.

You can even put your files on your desktop or such to make sure. Update your firmware, remove the file from your card, and then you can put the files back on the card and continue playing.
