Nokia unveiled its 808 PureView at the Mobile World Congress in February, a Symbian-based smartphone that comes with a whopping 41 megapixel camera.
It seemed strange that the Finnish OEM launched such a high-spec device on the fading Symbian OS in the first place, but US president Chris Webb now claims the firm is committed to adding the technology to future WinPho-powered Lumia devices.
The exec was tight-lipped on when the roll out will take place, but added: "We're working with Microsoft to make sure their platform supports the broad set of things we want to do with the PureView imaging."
