App Store Update: June 14

Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.
Game Debuts
Mutant Storm – ($2.99)
Popular XBLA & PC twin-stick shooter Mutant Storm is now available on the App Store courtesy of Crescent Moon Games.

Babel Rising 3D – ($2.99)
Once again gamers can step into God’s sandals and punish those heathen Babylonians for constructing towers of Babel. As its name implies, this sequel’s most notable change is the shift from 2D to 3D.

Suspect in Sight – ($0.99)
Why should villains get to have all the fun? Suspect in Sight lets gamers chase down criminals with extreme prejudice in their own police helicopter.

WarGames: WOPR – ($0.99)
Children of the 70s and 80s: pay attention! I have no idea whether WarGames: WOPR is any good or not. It’s just incredible and a little ridiculous that the game exists at all. The title is fully licensed from the 29-year-old(!!) Matthew Broderick film, and seems to take full advantage of said license.
Eager Beaver – ($0.99)
Eager Beaver looks like another friendly 2D physics puzzler from Chillingo. Build a beaver dam out of anything and everything you can get your hands on.

Pocket Planes – (Free)
Nimblebit’s Tiny Tower follow-up Pocket Planes is finally available! Join the IGN crew &read our first impressions from earlier this morning.

Disco Kitten – ($0.99)
Disco Kitten proves that Chillingo publishes more than just physics puzzlers. It’s weird. It’s musical. And it stars an adorable robot kitty. Cute!

realMyst – ($6.99)
Cyan Worlds has been repackaging and rereleasing Myst for nearly 20 years. iPad owners can now get in on the action with realMyst, a fully 3D recreation of the original game’s static pre-rendered images.

Price Drops
Plants vs. Zombies – ($0.99)
If you’ve somehow managed to never experience PopCap’s goofy lane defense title, grab it now! It’s on sale for just $0.99 for a limited time.
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing – (Free)
Sega has once again given games the opportunity to grab its mascot kart racer free-of-charge. Nice!
Spy Mouse – (Free)
Firemint’s cute top-down stealth-puzzler has gone free for the first time ever! iPad owners can also get in on this free offer.
Flight Control Rocket – (Free)
EA’s Flight Control follow-up is also free for a limited time. Note that the title still features an aggressive in-app purchase strategy.
Updates
Total War Battles: Shogun
Several new skirmish battles, legendary units, Facebook & Twitter integration and more have been added to Creative Assembly’s Total War RTS.

Two cute baby balls are totally craving for their lollipops, yet they are separated from those little treats. It is your mission to step up and help these lovely ones! Use the little cannon to shoot the lollipop in corresponding color to each one of them and, as you do so, please pay attention to those props, as they might be quite useful in some cases, and get around of a variety of obstacles.
