Im sure if this was legit it would have alot more news coverage than jus a thread on maxconsole. Confirmed and you know it would be the latest news on the frontpage here.
Here's is my take on anything related to firmware/flashing... if I run into some new program that offers something thats never been done, its not tested, the poster has like 1 or 2 posts, I completely dismiss it. PERIOD. If its legit, it eventually will be given a "seal of approval". Till then, no point in being "the first" to try something if there's any chance of a brick. Maybe i'm biased cos I have 1.50 FW and dont know what its like to be stuck with a TA-082 or 2.8x+. Oh wait... I do. I originally bought a TA-082... totally bricked it using the TIFF exploit. I did it out of desperation and not caring about the outcome cos I still had my reciept. hehe. Took the brick back and got a used 2.60 non-ta-082 Since than Ive been in PSP heaven.
Iv'e said this a million times... if you are reading this and just bought a new PSP and cant downgrade using the PROVEN methods, get your money back and buy a USED non-TA-082 with 2.60 FW or less. Heed this warning and I WILL personally help you downgrade if ya need help.
