PSP:3.0 OE-A to be released today

Its not considered piracacy if you have the real game. It was kinda stupid of sony to not let people who own the real games play it, but it is smart in the respect that they stopped alot of piracy.

If this version isn't done by dax i'm gunna wait it out till he brings out a new release.

Also just to clear things up, you will only be able to install 3.0 OE-A on a current 2.71SE psp or 1.5 psp, anyone above 2.71 or anyone who has TA-082 psp will be unable to install it. (Unless someone has said otherwise)

I dont know if dax is involved with this project, but it WAS going to be hosted on his site so I think he is, unfortunately there are issues with "DRM" meaning it cant be hosted on the site as its an infringement or something like that, french law, lol.
Keep your eyes peeled, its gonna be a great new firmware, ive had a UMD movie since my birthday, back in October that I still want to watch, maybe very soon

To clear things up for me, can you load psx iso's somehow or something? I read it couldn't be loaded by your own cd iso but then how else will you get the iso? this is just confusing and they better keep the web browser, i *love* it.

the only psx games you can use are from the playstation store (the ones you need a PS3 to dl) but this lets you dl them from the internet (illegal) rather than from your PS3

only browser i see going is location free, didnt say anything about web browser

what format are the psx games in? maybe someone can crack it so us original psx owners can use it on our own games. plus, how do people get them off their psp in the first place? sony is trying to hard to be pirate free. i've soft-modded all my systems from psone, pstwo (slimline) to now the psp.

from what i can tell, they download to PS3, then transfer to PSP, i guess from there they upload via USB, and being european, PS3 isnt even released here yet, so i have no clue about the whole official PSX emulator (Until i get a PS3, i wont bother reading up about it, maybe wikipedia holds a few answers though)

Sorry for so many posts, just things pop in my head that i want to get noticed but, when is this going to be released? For I think it was 2.71 se-b'', i pulled an all nighter because i knew the approximate time, but this doesn't have any time on it. More time info would be cool

Within 24 hours of the time it was posted at maxconsole is as specific as i can be, because that was the time stated, ill go look now, see if there has been a time given
