IRShell 3.1 worked for me, well most of it did.

Seriously Gunntims, I never upgraded to 2.71SE, as it didn't offer enough to me to warrant the flashing.
But this is absolutely amazing firmware. It is truly the golden firmware and is an absolute dream to use. Upgrade and try it, you will probably like it.
EDIT: I have found a tiny gripe I have with this. There is hardly any space on the flash so I can't really use many of the XFlash features. In fact my gameboot took up the last of my flash.

so what is better 2.71 SE-C or 3.02 OE-A?

and does the blue screen of death go away once after u use it, and should i press circle or not?

and can u use PS1 emu without a PS3 and how do use it?

3.02OE is way better than 2.71SE
The BSOD will go away after pressing circle.
Yes you can use the PS1 emu without a PS3. you put the PS1 game file in the GAME folder on your MS.
